This policy explains what personal data Konivo Inc. ("KONIVO", "we") collects through this website, our consultation service, and the operations dashboard, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 2026-09-11
Information you provide. When you submit a market-entry review request we collect your name, email address, brand name, website, product category, and any message you write. When you create a dashboard account we collect your contact name, company name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted hash). We also store messages and files you send through your dashboard thread.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view, through cookies and Google Analytics 4. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
We use personal data to: respond to consultation requests and prepare your report; create and administer your account; operate the dashboard and send you task and status notifications; provide the operations services you ask for (for example Importer of Record / Seller of Record, certification filings, channel onboarding); maintain security and prevent abuse; measure and improve the website; and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We process your data to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, to comply with legal obligations, and — for analytics and marketing cookies — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Essential cookies store your cookie choice, language, and login session and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are loaded only after you accept them. You can decline or later withdraw consent through the cookie banner or your browser settings, and you can install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract — Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery) and Google (analytics) — and with Korean administrative bodies, logistics partners, and certification agents only to the extent needed to deliver a service you have requested. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Our providers may store or process data on servers outside the Republic of Korea, including in the United States. Where data is transferred abroad we rely on the provider's contractual and technical safeguards and on your consent where required.
We keep consultation inquiries for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, account data for as long as your account is active and up to 5 years after closure for legal and accounting purposes, and analytics data according to Google Analytics retention settings. We delete or anonymise data once these periods end, unless a law requires longer retention.
You may ask to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact us through the contact form. We respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) of Korea.
We serve the site over HTTPS, store passwords only as hashes, limit internal access to personal data, and collect the minimum data needed for each purpose. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to review our safeguards.
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "last updated" date, and we will give notice of material changes where required.
